I am passionate about life, people, yoga the planet and my dogs! (and of course, my wonderful hubby)
I have practiced yoga for 25 years, at first just using it as a way to exercise it slowly became far more. I gave up my corporate career and made the decision to become a yoga teacher. A decision that has changed my life positively in so many ways.
My training covered an 18-month period focussing on detailed anatomy & physiology, advanced teaching techniques, adjustment and yoga philosophy. It encouraged a very open mind about all the differing styles and techniques of yoga something I am very grateful for. It has led me to follow different people and styles that work towards the same goal of being the best versions of ourselves.
I have experience in Scaravelli Inspired, Vinyasa Flow and Hatha yoga. My approach is a fusion of the above with a large focus on anatomy, alignment and being good to yourself.
Qualifications and Professional Development
I hold a Yoga Teacher Training Diploma – registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour teacher training level and with the Independent Yoga Network.
I have completed a 15 hour Anatomy course with Dr Andrew Mcgonigle
Fully qualified in Myofascial Release technique studying with Amanda Oswald
Qualified in teaching Mindfulness and Meditation through The Yoga Campus after completed 19 week course with Michael Stone
Studied with Doug Keller, Liz Lark and Rolf Sovik.
Trained in the art of Thai yoga massage
Regularly attend courses with Bill Wood, Gary Carter, Monica Voss and Pete Blackerby.

I have been practicing Marshall arts for 10 years and have a black belt in the discipline of Shotokan Karate. I have also been part of Pole Attack for 4 years attending pole training classes which are great fun and amazing for core strength. I have a background in dance and movement and am passionate about helping people be the best they can be.
My approach is to combine the styles of yoga, my knowledge and experience into a tailored class which focuses on my students needs and bodies.
I work towards a healthy outlook to body and mind; I believe strongly in the connection of the two.
Working at your own pace, my classes focus on movement and breath which will release tension and begin to help you relax. You will increase understand on how your body moves, increase flexibility and strengthen your body.
